Back during my university years, I started learning Inkscape to create some inspired visual patterns. It was nice exercise to learn creating geometrical shapes using a vector graphics editor.
Penrose

This is a Penrose pattern which has a fivefold symmetry, however it's irregular. That means that every instance or time you build this pattern it's a totally unique pattern. This version in particular is the second variation of Penrose's attempt in finding a pattern with a fivefold symmetry. What I like about this pattern is that the elements form nice stars.
Sayagata

This is pattern based on a buddhist pattern/symbol. What interest me the most is how layered and complex the pattern can get, while in principle it's a simple pattern.
3D Squares

This one is based on a chiyogami paper pattern I already recreated. The question I tried to answer was: "what if you folded the squares and pattern in a particular way", hoping to create a three-dimensional perspective from a flat visual.
