Empty Stage

May 8, 2025

Sometimes you see a stage that’s vacant.
Until someone steps in to take the spot.
The words pass by, make sure you get them caught.
As full songs may carry a deep statement.
The ones who see, may find something blatant.
It may seem empty, however it’s not.
The stage will show the message that they brought.
Your chance to capture, a hidden arrangement.

But the audience may seem similar.
Unattended, yet carries that one sight.
A witness linking back to the singer.
The reminder, there was a listener.
Remember of the moment, of what might.
Fleeting memory that now might linger.
