Father, bless me, for I have sinned. It has been years since temptation struck me.
I have sinned father—
I distanced myself from you,
I abandoned the church too.
Let my heart roam for too long,
Let my mind wander— so wrong.
I lost focus on work— one glance got the best of me.
Disappointed, dissatisfied; immediately went on a sinner’s spree.

Father in heaven—
Forgive me for losing sight.
Forgive me for falling in temptation; for losing face.
Help me become stronger again; see your light.
Help me, not because I deserve, but in your grace.
